Kung Hei Fat Choi! Not sure where to celebrate in town? Miss Wong is the only place to be. Their annual Chinese New Year Party is a fun-filled event drawing a mix of locals, expats and tourists to Siem Reap’s original cocktail bar.
Taste
With a menu inspired by Ken Hom, the award-winning Chinese-American Chef, this is one of the best spots in town for authentic dim sum and our favourite duck pancakes. On Chinese New Year, owner-chef-mixologist-wizard in the kitchen Dean will be offering specially created Bao buns.
Toast
Miss Wong’s China White (Jasmine tea syrup and lychees folded with Tanqueray gin and Cinzano Bianco) and Jen Queen’s Ang-Pau (Gin, mandarin orange marmalade, fresh mint and pinot noir) are the obvious choices. Ang Pau refers to the little red envelopes that are given during Chinese New Year. The red symbolises good luck and is a symbol to ward off evil spirits. Guests are also offered a complimentary Aperol Spritz on arrival.
Tunes
Siem Reap resident and one of our favourites, DJ Sakura will be playing her sultry lounge and deep house. We guarantee there will be dancing!
